☼ Take your pet to a vet: If you have a loyal canine companion who has been competing with you for space on the sofa and you would like to see your selves engaged in a regular walking program, make in a medical appointment for your pet at the same time you make one for yourself. You veterinarian should be able to pinpoint any health or structural problem your dog has and help you deal with them. Tell you vet you plan to start a walking program and ask him how he feels your dog will adapt. Ask how long or how far your dog can be expected to walk. Large Breeds usually can trot alongside their masters for miles, but small, snub-nosed breeds, might be best walked around the block.
