This products full title is Dr Andrew Weil
for Origins Mega-Bright Skin Tone Correcting Serum. What a mouthful.
It’s designed to visibly reduce dark spots and discolorations and
prevents them from reappearing.
I have been using the products for 5 weeks now and I love it!
The effects I noticed on my skin
- Smoother and clearer skin (the most noticeable improvement I have come across from a product)
- My skin looked noticeable more radiant and glowing
- It left my skin less oily
- It lightened my pregnancy mask marks from my last pregnany
- It has lessened the discolouration from acne scarring on my chin
- Makes my skin feel firmer
- Left no residue or oiliness on my skin. It feels invisible.
Needless to say, I’m a fan. The bottle is
30ml. I apply one pump over my face morning and evening. Based on my
rate or usage it might last 2 months. For people with greater
discoloration you can apply up to four times a day. I would imagine you
might only get a month out of the bottle in this instance.
The ingredients in this product works. I
suspect this is not only down to the choice of ingredients but also the
quantity and quality of them. I have heard a few people have issues with
dryness using this product – this may be down to sensitivity tot
ingredients perhaps? I have sensitive skin and I had absolutely no
issues.
I’m more confident sans make-up but the
best part is less concealer and a lighter coverage base. It’s worth it
for the radiance and glow alone. As a testament to this I just recorded a
video on my Everyday Foundation Routine and I use a tinted moisturiser.
I never thought I would be in a position to put down the foundation
bottle. I’m converted.
Now, the downside. It costs €62. I buy
Origins products from Debenhams if anyone is wondering where they’re on
sale here. The bottle is 30ml, it feels small but then again it’s a
serum not a cream.
This product is well worth a try if you
have any sort of discolouration. I am very happy with the results and
have already sent a few friends to pick up a bottle. I always feel a
little bad when I rave about an expensive product, but this is truly
worth it.
Any Origins fans?
