How to wear Prints

placeholder image captionWe might not all be able to rock prints quite as perfectly as the Pattern Queen Solange, but that doesn't mean we can't die trying. We hit up celeb stylist and JustFab.com style expert, Jessica Paster, for some tips on our quest to master this look.

Picking the fit: Loose flowing pajama print pants are all the rage. They pair perfectly with a bandeau top or loose fitting tee. Prints also work great on dresses and shorts—perfect for all those hot summer days ahead.
Flatter your body: Wherever you decide to sport your print, eyes will be drawn there first. So if you're a bit bottom heavy, try a smaller print with darker colors to not appear larger than you are. If you're on the smaller side, Paster suggests trying monochromatic prints.
Mix-and-match: Mixing prints is a great idea, but you have to be careful which patterns you choose and limit yourself to two. While anyone who is bold enough to mix prints should go of it, Paster says that they work best on straight and narrow body types.
Accessorize: When paring shoes with a printed pant, choose a neutral wedge or pump. As for jewelry, you can pile it on as long as it stays simple—try layering bangles, rings, or necklaces.
Accent: With black and white prints feel free to layer on the accent colors. Paster suggests adding pink or turquoise accessories to bring a pop of color to the outfit.
